Humble Farmers Organics Inc. requires 1 Harvesting Labourer to provide the following duties:

Job details:
Location of work: 39419 Range Road 2.1 Lacombe County, AB T0C 0J0
Salary: $20.00/hour for 40 to 50 hours per week
Vacancies: 1 Vacancies
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time
Start date: As soon as possible
Employment conditions: Morning, Day, Overtime Required

Tasks:
• Harvest vegetables and specialty crops by hand
• Assist with trimming, sorting and packing harvested products
• Support post-harvest handling activities under supervision
• Assist with planting watering and crop maintenance
• Assist with poultry care and egg collection
• Participate in composting and soil preparation
• Clean and maintain tools and work areas
• Harvest, fertilize and spray crops
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Perform general farm duties

Type of Crops: Tomatoes, Hugelkultur beds, Cannabis
Work site Environment: Organic Farming, Poultry and egg production, indoor/outdoor, organic and regenerative farming systems.
Work Setting: Rural area.
Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools, vegetable harvester, fertilizer applicator
Job Requirements:
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Experience is an asset
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast- paced environment, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods.
Weight handling: Up to 23 kgs (50 lbs)
Personal suitability: Organized, team player, reliability
