We are currently seeking a dedicated and responsible Restaurant Manager who will oversee daily operations across both locations. The ideal candidate will manage the restaurant with care and a strong sense of responsibility, as if it were their own, while ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

– Position: Restaurant Manager (Full-time, Permanent)
– Work location: 1) 274 Highland Road W, Kitchener, Ontario N2M 3C5
2) 315 Arthur Street S, Elmira, Ontario N3B 3L5
– Work Hours: 30 hours per week + Vacation fee (4% of gross salary)
– Wage: $37

++Job Duties:
– Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
– Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
– Evaluate daily operations
– Track revenues to control labour cost and conduct staff performance reviews
– Monitor staff performance and recruit, train, supervise and instruct staff
– Set and adjust staff work schedules
– Plan and organize daily operations
– Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
– Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
– Cost products and services
– Organize and maintain inventory
– Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
– Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
– Work with clients for catering arrangements or use of facilities
– Participate in marketing plans and implementation
– Provide quality customer service and manage events
– Handle and resolve customers’ complaints or concerns

++Requirements:
– Completion of a college in food service administration, hotel or restaurant management or related or equivalent experience
– Minimum 5 years of experience in food service or hospitality industry, including supervisory or managerial experience are required
-Proven ability to manage daily operations, staff supervision, and customer service in a restaurant environment
– Excellent communication skills in English is required
