job duties:
• Read blueprints or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
• Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Prepare floors for installations
• Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
• Vacuuming, scraping the floor, removing old flooring, and disposal to proper bins
• Patching and self-levelling subfloors according to site specifications
• Spreading adhesives
• Install wall base (standard) and millwork base
• Installing stairs (risers, treads, nosings, and stringers), rubber carpet and LVT
• Installing various commercial materials, such as LVT, VCT, or rubber tiles
• Measure, cut and install resilient floor covering using adhesive, rollers and other hand tools
• Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
• Clean work area as needed

terms of employment: permanent full-time; 40 hours per week

employment conditions: morning, day, evening, weekend
*Flexibility on schedule is required depending on the business needs including weekend work and overtime as needed.
