Green Crop Farming 2018 Ltd., located at Nobleford, AB is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technologist. Permanent full-time. English-speaking workplace. Rural area. Remote location.

Wage: $37.32/hour
Education: Bachelor’s degree in design, design-related program
Experience: 5 Years of design experience involving designing mechanical systems.
2 Years working with Autodesk Inventor.
2 Years of welding experience
2 Years agricultural operating experience (tractor, cutting, baling or other farm work)

Duties:
Design, draft, and make upgrades to agricultural machinery, creating 3D designs of machines and components in Autodesk Inventor. Make design improvements. Create drawing for part manufacturing. Assembling, welding, and fabrication to move the project forward. Source and order parts. Document meetings, testing, and other improvements. Assistance around farm shop. General duties as required by the owner or farm manager.
