Experience
• At least 1 year to less than 2 years of work experience as food service supervisor or related experience

Duties:
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of restaurant staff involved in food preparation, portioning, and customer service.
• Organize and assign daily work duties to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
• Prepare staff schedules and coordinate daily and weekly staffing requirements.
• Monitor food preparation, presentation, service quality, and portion control to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock, sales, repairs, and food waste.
• Estimate and order food ingredients, beverages, packaging, and other restaurant supplies as required.
• Ensure all restaurant policies and procedures are followed, including cash handling, employee meal and break policies, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety.
• Provide floor leadership and work alongside team members in various restaurant positions during busy periods to maintain efficient service.
• Ensure adequate staff coverage throughout each shift and adjust assignments as business needs change.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the restaurant’s menu, products, services, and operating procedures.
• Complete required shift reports, checklists, and other operational documentation accurately and on time.
• Monitor team member performance and provide feedback to the Manager and/or Assistant Manager.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and energetic work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
• Ensure proper sanitation and safe food-handling practices are consistently followed when handling food, equipment, and restaurant facilities.
• Assist management with maintaining overall restaurant standards and achieving sales, service, and operational goals.
