Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years required.
• Effective interpersonal skills, should have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze and think through recording of transaction
• Should be able to demonstrate customer services whenever required

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain full documentation for each loan file in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Participate in post-closing audits and internal quality reviews.
• Ensure applications comply with company policies and government regulations (e.g., CMHC, OSFI guidelines).
• Evaluate residential and commercial mortgage loan applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in identifying patterns of fraud or risk exposure.
• Analyze clients’ requests to assess risk and details of bonds, mortgages or other financing solutions
• Answer telephone, email and website enquiries, transfer telephone calls and messages to staff members
• Meet with clients to obtain information about income, liabilities and assets, and type, price and condition of property to be mortgaged.
• Represent the business by providing excellent customer services.
• Compile data, statistics, and other information to support activities in office.
• Conduct preliminary reviews for mortgage pre-approvals, analyzing credit scores, income documentation, and eligibility criteria.
