Elmco Construction Ltd is looking for three (3) Full-Time Construction Labourers (NOC 75110)! This is a full-time position with 30-40 hours per week, $26.00/hour. We offer year-round and seasonal positions.
Job Description:
• Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
• Scrape and oil concrete forms
• Load and unload trucks
• Help customers with their orders
• Cut and drill plywood
• Assist tradespersons in construction activities
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
• Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps
• Clean up work area
• Oil and grease hoists and similar equipment
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
Job Requirements:
• Must be physically able to do construction work
• Previous construction experience is an asset, but not required
• Language in the workplace is English
Job Location:
Various worksites in the Okanagan area. Office is located in 1171 10th Street SW, Salmon Arm, BC V1E 1T2
