SUMMARY OF THE BUSINESS: Déjà Vu Restaurant & Bar is a Canadian casual dining business that offers a varied menu and drink selection. We are open 7 days a week, all year round, and offer takeout and delivery services. We are also popular for hosting birthdays and other get-togethers due to our size.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking to hire a cook to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a cook, you will help to carry out the following duties:
• Pre-prep
• Prepare and complete full meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by the dietitian or chef
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and equipment therein
• Perform dishwashing duties

JOB REQUIREMENT:
• Minimum 1- 2 years of work experience preparing and cooking meals
• Certificate program in food preparation preferred, or equivalent experience
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Oral communication in English
• Safe Food Handling Certificate, Food Safety Certificate, First Aid Certificate
• Must be comfortable taking initiative, organized, reliable, and manage time well
