On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots, Grain, oil and forage crop
Work setting: Rural area
Experience and specialization: Equipment and machinery experience, Fertilizer applicator, Harvesters, Seed drill, Sprayer or duster, Tractor, Combine harvester, Farm truck, Haying equipment, Planting equipment

Tasks:
• Handling animals
• Monitoring animal health
• Perform livestock feeding
• Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving
• Treat livestock health issues
• Feed and tend animals
• Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs
• Formulate feeding program
• Maintain livestock performance records
• Detect disease and health problems in crops, and livestock
• Disinfect pens and barns
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
• Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
• Perform general farm duties
