Job Description

County Line Swine, 1092 Melwood St., Alviston, ON.is seeking 2 general farm workers (Swine). English speaking workplace. Permanent, Full-time. Rural area.

Wage: $17.60/hour
Education: Basic
Experience: An Asset

Duties: Breeding, feeding and farrowing sows. Processing piglet litters. Piglet care through weaning. Washing, cleaning and disinfecting of rooms. Provide best care to all sows and piglets. Observe animals for signs of illness or injury. Check for proper ventilation and temperature conditions. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. General farm duties as required.

Weekend work is required, including Sundays.
Should have strong observational skills, ability to lift heavy objects and familiarity with animal behavior.
Working in barns and you will be exposed to odors and dust.
