Job Description

Role and context:

A bus driver safely transports people workers their homes and the work site, follows traffic laws, checks the vehicle before each trip, responds to emergencies, and provides courteous service.
 
Required profile 

– Completion of secondary school is usually required

– One year of safe driving experience is required

– A Class 2 driver’s licence is required

– One year of experience
 
Tasks:

– Drive the bus safely and in compliance with the Road Code.

– Drive the workers from their homes to the work site at the beginning and end of every shift.

– Ensuring passenger safety by observing speed limits and adapting driving to traffic conditions (weather, heavy traffic, etc.).

– Check the vehicle’s condition before each departure (fuel levels, tire pressure, brakes, lighting, etc.) and report any mechanical problems.

– React appropriately in the event of an emergency (accident, passenger discomfort, on-board incident) and alert the appropriate authorities if necessary.

– Greet passengers in a courteous and professional manner

– Any other related tasks.
