Job Description

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

• Bag, box or parcel purchases for customers at stores or for shipment and delivery to customers
• Carry customers’ purchases to parking lot and pack in vehicles
• Unpack products received by store and count, weigh or sort items
• Use barcode scanning equipment to record incoming stock, verify pricing and maintain computerized stock inventory
• Price items using stamp or stickers according to price list
• Attach protective devices to products to protect against shoplifting
• Stock shelves and display areas and keep stock clean and in order

Requirements:
● Full availability to work weekdays and weekends as required.
● Standing/walking for 8 hours.
● Lifting and/or carrying of merchandise items, as required, on a regular, frequent and unassisted basis. Merchandise items may vary in weight from “light” to “heavy”.
● Possibility of working outdoors under various seasonal weather conditions.
● Effective written and oral communication skills.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment that provides assistance and support to co-workers to achieve common goals.
● Commitment to following and upholding safe work practices and health & safety standards in the workplace.
● Experience in a similar role.

Required languages: English

Education level: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
