Job Description

Burns Lake Food Market is located at 425 Highway 16, Burns Lake, BC V0J 1E0. We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Cook. If you are interested, please submit your application by e-mail.

Position: Cook
Wage: CAD$21.20/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: 30~40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook pizzas, pastas, salads, wings, and other items on the menu;
• Maintain inventory and records of food;
• Oversee kitchen operation;
• Train kitchen staff.

Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required.
• Skills demonstration may be required.
• Language at work: English
