Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Photography Studio Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong desire to drive sales in a retail environment. The Photography Studio Clerk position at Wallace Studios involves receiving, organizing, and processing products for a photography studio. The role is essential for ensuring efficient operations by managing product data and maintaining communication. This full-time position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle studio tasks.
Job description and responsibilities
Receive and record customer samples, performing required currency and quality checks. Prepare and batch products for physical processing based on service requirements. Accurately enter product information into the workflow, prioritizing by due date and service level. Manage and order physical storage for goods in, goods out, customer storage, and disposal. Remove completed products from storage in line with service standards. Package and dispatch products for customer returns. Maintain communication with other team members to resolve queries efficiently. Identify, escalate, and resolve issues with systems and processes as needed. Maintain equipment used throughout the department. Convey knowledge of processes to visiting clients and newcomers. Perform minimum housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and orderliness as needed
Job requirements
At least 1 to less than 7 months of proven sales ability and photo studio operations knowledge.
Having 1 year of above experience is an advantage. Must understand colour wheel and colour balance for printing operations. Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred. Familiarity with technical sales or product demonstrations is a plus. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this
role.
