Position Overview
We are looking for a Cashier who enjoys connecting with people and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. As the first and last point of contact for our customers, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service at checkout
• Accurately scan, price, and process purchases using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions with accuracy and responsibility
• Assist customers with bagging items and addressing inquiries in a courteous manner
• Maintain a tidy, organized, and well-stocked checkout area
• Verify the age of the customers, if required
• Support the team with store duties as needed (stocking shelves, light cleaning, etc.)
• Follow all store policies, including health and safety guidelines
• Other relevant duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills
• Previous retail or cashier experience is an asset (but we’re happy to train the right person)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Dependable, punctual, and customer-service focused
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting light to moderate items

Education level: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
