Main Duties and Responsibilities:
– Operate air track and rotary drilling machines to drill holes for building foundations and pilings
– Conduct and oversee pre-operation inspections and daily maintenance of drilling equipment
– Set up and operate specialized drilling rigs (including Gardner Denver Air Track, hollow core anchors/IBO)
– Measure locations and stake out patterns for holes and anchor bars
– Execute pressure grouting as needed
– Train and supervise drill helpers, labourers, and other junior workers
– Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with all safety and project specifications
– Identify hazards and communicate safety issues in accordance with company protocols
– Comply with all company and regulatory health and safety standards
Wage/Salary: $43.02/hour; Scheduled increase to $45.17/hour on May 1, 2026
Vacation/Holiday Pay: 10.4% of gross wages, in accordance with the Collective Agreement

Location of Work: Based out of and reporting to 300-19923 80A Ave, Langley, BC, V2Y 0E2; will be dispatched to various job sites in and around the Greater Vancouver area
Language of Work: English, both written and spoken
Skills Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent is Required
Work Experience: At least 5 years of verifiable experience as a Construction Driller on construction sites is required
Skills/Licensing:
– Demonstrated work history and technical competence operating a 3800 top hammer Gardner Denver Air Track drill
– Demonstrated work history drilling across a variety of ground conditions, including sandstone, till and pit run
– Demonstrated work history and technical competence drilling with hollow core anchors (IBO)
– Technical competence in understanding of shoring and site drawings
– Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License is required
