We are looking for a professional Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technologist

Work Location: On-site

Salary: $37.25 per hour, 40 hours per week

Experience 5 years or more

Work Location This position is fully on-site. Remote work is not available.

Work Setting – Office – Marine environment

Responsibilities Tasks include:

– Install and maintain equipment

– Read blueprints and technical instructions

– Service and test power equipment and systems

– Assist in design, development, inspection, and testing

– Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments

– Conduct safety training programs

– Assist in building and testing prototypes

– Operate specialized and standard test equipment

– Complete work orders, test reports, and maintenance documentation

– Assemble mechanical equipment – Solder and manually assemble electronic components on PCBs

– Set up IT infrastructure for application and database access

– Test electrical assemblies and wiring

– Perform 3D printing tasks

– Networking hardware and security

– Intranet and Internet systems – CAD and AutoCAD – MS Outlook, MS Office, MS Windows – TCP/IP – LabView – Firmware development – Inventory control software – MATLAB Equipment and Machinery Experience – Cable outlets – Crimping, brazing, and soldering equipment – 3D pantographs – Voltage regulators – Soldering machines – Marine engines Equipment, Systems and Controls Experience – Navigation equipment and systems – Electronic testing equipment and systems
