Job Description
We are seeking a warm, responsible, and experienced child caregiver (44100) to provide dedicated care for our children (one and four years old). If you are passionate about working with children and creating a safe, nurturing environment, please send us your resume with references.
Duties:
• Organizing, preparing, and providing balanced vegetarian meals
• Promoting hygiene and wellness habits in both the children and their environment
• Ensuring a healthy and orderly atmosphere
• Planning the daily schedule of activities, including classes, recreational activities, and developmental activities outside the home
• Accompanying and driving the children to different places.
• Carrying out early stimulation and cognitive development activities adapted to each child’s age, fostering a safe, positive, and structured environment both inside and outside the home
• Supporting the strengthening of socialization, recreation, and language stimulation skills, contributing holistically to their growth and development
Work conditions:
• Wage: $26/hour
• Full-time, permanent job offer
• Working location: West Vancouver, BC
• 30-40 hours per week
• Overtimes are paid at 1,5 rate for hours exceeding 40
• 4% vacation pay
Requirements:
• At least five years of related work experience
• Related post-secondary degree (preferably in education)
• Must be dog friendly
• Patience, creativity, and a love for children
• Ability to manage daily routines and tasks independently
• Good communication skills
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Experienced driver with a clean driving record and BC Driver’s license
