TITLE OF POSITION: Home Child Care Provider
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time (40 hours of work per week)
WAGES AND BENEFITS: $19.00 per hour, 100% MSP and WCB Coverage
ANTICIPATED START DATE: As Soon As Possible

SKILLS AND EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Completion of a training program in child care or a related field; OR
 Child care or household management experience;
 First Aid and CPR Certificates.MAIN DUTIES:
 Supervise and care for children in employers’ residence;
 Bathe and dress children;
 Plan, prepare and serve meals for children and may perform other housekeeping duties;
 Oversee children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by employers;
 Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home;
 Instruct children in personal hygiene;
 Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development;
 Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents;
 Provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings;
 Take older child to and from school and appointments;
 May be required to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding each child.

SAFETY AND SECURITY: Criminal Record Check and Medical Examination are mandatory
OTHER NOTES:  Position is for LIVE-OUT only;
 Work schedule and days off of employee will be arranged weekly based on the work schedule of employers.
