Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for two children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere while ensuring the well-being of the children in their care. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering positive relationships with both the children and their families. We are looking for a 2 year commitment at minimum. Someone that is able to be flexible and available Monday – Friday at any hours requested by the employer. So flexibility is crucial as parents have a schedule that at times can change unexpectedly.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage with children in various activities, including playtime, educational games, and outdoor activities.
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring dietary restrictions are respected.
Maintain a clean and organized environment by tidying up after activities and managing household chores related to childcare.
Assist with homework and provide educational support as needed.
Implement routines that promote healthy habits, including meal times, nap times, and bedtime routines.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
Provide care for children with disabilities or special needs, adapting activities to meet their unique requirements.
Experience

Previous experience working with children in a babysitting or nanny capacity is preferred.
Skills in cooking and meal preparation to ensure healthy eating habits for children.
Experience in cleaning and maintaining a tidy environment conducive to child development.
Background in caregiving or teaching is advantageous, particularly for candidates who have worked with diverse age groups or children with disabilities.
