About the Position
Our busy podiatry clinic is seeking a friendly, organized, and outgoing Medical Office Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys interacting with patients while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients in a professional and welcoming manner
Schedule and confirm appointments
Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation
Handle phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
Process billing, payments, and insurance information
Assist with administrative tasks to support the clinical team
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient front office environment
Additional Responsibilities Include
Provide basic information to clients and the public
Obtain and process information required to provide customer service
Record and relay information
Receive and issue payments
Perform clerical duties, such as filing and sorting and distributing mail
Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
Provide customer service
Complete insurance and other claim forms
Order supplies and maintain inventory
Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence and prepare
spreadsheets and documents for review
Maintain filing system
Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records
Determine and establish office procedures and routines
Language: English
Required Education
Medical office assistant/specialist certificate or diploma
Required Experience
at least 1 year medical office experience
Computer and technology knowledge
Word processing software
Electronic mail

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
