We are seeking 1 home childcare provider to take care of our child.

Job Details Location: Esquimalt, BC V9A 6S3

Work Location: On site (Work must be completed at the physical location)

Salary: $22.00 hourly / 32 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Term or contract, Full time (12 months)
Start Date: Starts as early as 2026-09-14 End Date: 2027-09-14

Schedule: Early morning, Night, Day, Weekend, with break during school day

Requirements Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program in Early Childhood Education

Required Experience: 3 years to 4 years working with young children

Non-smoking Work environment

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Prepare infants and children for rest periods
Supervise and care for children
Tend to emotional well-being of child
Cook for the child if needed

Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:

Emergency child care first aid and CPR

Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate

Valid drivers license and clean driving record

Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Patience, Honesty
