Overview:
Our daycare is seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator to support the daily care and development of young children in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will assist in planning and leading age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and growth. A positive attitude, patience, and a genuine love for working with children are essential.

Duties:
– Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment that promotes children’s well-being and security at all times.
– Create and implement engaging daily routines and activities that nurture emotional, physical, intellectual, and social development.
– Lead storytelling, music, creative arts, physical play, and educational outings to encourage imagination and hands-on learning.
– Foster healthy routines by helping children learn proper eating habits, personal hygiene, and dressing skills.
– Evaluate individual interests, strengths, and developmental needs, and communicate progress with families and staff.
– Monitor children’s behavior and development, identifying any potential learning or behavioral challenges and reporting findings to parents or supervisors.
– Collaborate with fellow educators, families, and local support services to meet children’s needs and support their growth.
– Organize age-appropriate recreational and learning activities for children before and after school hours when required.
– May take on leadership responsibilities by supervising and guiding assistants and other early childhood staff members.

Requirements:
– Completion of a two year college program in early childhood education
