Tasks

• Assist in planning, organizing, and overseeing day-to-day store operations to meet sales and service targets.
• Track inventory levels, review stock movement reports, and assist in determining merchandise requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding deliveries, product availability, and resolving order discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing order forecasts based on sales trends, seasonal demand, and store inventory needs.
• Support the planning and monitoring of store budgets, operating expenses, and cost-control measures.
• Review daily, weekly, and monthly sales data to identify trends and recommend adjustments to product assortment.
• Ensure accurate pricing, signage, and execution of promotional programs.
• Oversee cash handling processes, including float preparation, safe drops, and register reconciliation.
• Verify daily sales reports and assist with preparing bank deposits and financial documentation.
• Monitor store operations to reduce shrinkage, enforce loss-prevention procedures, and maintain security standards.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations related to tobacco, lottery, age-restricted products, and workplace safety.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure staff follow health and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records related to inventory, incidents, inspections, and operational logs.
• Execute merchandising changes, promotional displays, and seasonal layouts as directed.
• Act as Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the Store Manager and make operational decisions as required.
