Location: Concord, Ontario
We are looking for a skilled and reliable CNC Machinist to join our team at a leading machining company in Concord. If you have experience or a strong interest in precision machining and are eager to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!
Job Overview:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
Experience: Previous experience in CNC machining is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Work Setting: General manufacturing, on-site (no remote work available)
Key Responsibilities:
Machining & Setup: Set up and adjust production machinery/tools, ensuring proper functioning and efficiency.
Dimension & Tolerances: Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts to ensure precision.
Interpret Engineering Drawings: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to guide the machining process.
Component Assembly: Fit and assemble components and machine parts to exact tolerances.
Inspection: Verify the dimensions of parts using precise measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
Machine Operation: Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to meet specifications.
Work Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Environment: Fast-paced, production-oriented setting with tight deadlines.
Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, and working in a physically demanding environment.
