Our team at Elite Truck Centre specializes in all truck and trailer brands and places an emphasis on regular preventative maintenance and servicing, which helps minimize roadside breakdowns & unexpected out of pocket expenses. We can even take on some of those bigger jobs such as Truck Repairs in Brampton, transmission/clutch repairs, complete general repair, differential rebuild, battery boost, trailer repairs, tire repair & Welding , heating and cooling services throughout GTA areas.
Job Title: Welder

Position Type: Full time, Permanent
Hours: 35 to 40 per week
Location: 2500 Williams Pkwy Unit 12, Brampton, ON L6S 5M9
Start Date: As soon as possible
Wage: $34.40

Qualification and requirement:
• Completion of secondary school is required
• 7 Months to less than one year of experience is required.
• Ability to communicate, read and write in English is must.
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
• Must be organized and team oriented
• Ability to follow instructions and should have attention to details
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet project deadlines
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
• Ability to handle physical load

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete welding tasks accurately.
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent injuries while performing welding operations
• Conduct welding repairs on damaged truck parts, such as repairing cracked frames, structural support, and suspension components.
• Inspect trucks and trailers for signs of wear, corrosion, or damage that may require welding repairs.
• Weld materials such as steel, aluminum, and other metals commonly used in truck repair.
• Prepare parts to be welded according to measurements and operate angle grinders
• Assist with the maintenance and repair of welding equipment’s
• Adjust welding heads and tooling according to work specification
• Utilize welding techniques to create durable and precise custom parts.
• Heavy lifting up to 50lbs.
