We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Human Resource Coordinator to support our growing human resources consulting and talent acquisition services. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, clients, hiring managers, and professional candidates to provide strategic staffing support, market research, recruitment analysis, and human resources advisory services.

The Human Resource Coordinator will be responsible for the following duties:
• Plan, develop, and support human resources and talent acquisition strategies to meet client workforce needs in specialized sectors, including biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, scientific, technical, and professional roles.
• Consult with clients, hiring managers, and senior stakeholders to understand staffing requirements, analyze job duties, identify key competencies, and recommend effective recruitment and candidate assessment strategies.
• Prepare and update job descriptions, candidate profiles, job requirement summaries, salary and market benchmarking information, and competency-based screening criteria.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment projects, including job analysis, candidate sourcing, resume screening, interview coordination, candidate assessment, reference support, and offer negotiation assistance.
• Develop and maintain targeted talent pipelines through LinkedIn, professional networks, internal databases, and other sourcing channels to support timely placement of qualified candidates.
• Conduct talent market research, competitor analysis, candidate mapping, and workforce availability analysis to support client hiring strategies and internal business development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate recruitment and human resources records, including candidate files, communication records, hiring status updates, pipeline reports, and related documentation.
• Use Excel, SQL, recruitment databases, and internal tools to track candidate pipelines, analyze hiring data, monitor recruitment metrics, and improve reporting accuracy.
• Evaluate recruitment outcomes and provide recommendations to improve sourcing efficiency, candidate quality, client satisfaction, and overall recruitment process effectiveness.
• Support the development and improvement of internal recruitment procedures, documentation standards, candidate communication templates, and best practices.
• Communicate professionally with candidates, clients, and internal team members in English; Mandarin communication skills are considered an asset for international candidate and client engagement.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive candidate, client, and employment-related information.

Qualifications and Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, life sciences, computer science, statistics, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in human resources, recruitment, talent acquisition, staffing, HR consulting, or a related professional role.
• Knowledge of talent acquisition practices, HR documentation, recruitment metrics, candidate pipeline management, and professional communication standards.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to support recruitment decisions, workforce planning, candidate matching, and process improvement.
• Experience using Excel, recruitment databases, LinkedIn, CRM/ATS systems, SQL, or other data and reporting tools is an asset.
• Experience or familiarity with biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, life sciences, scientific, engineering, or technical recruitment is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, reliability, professionalism, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• English language proficiency is required

Compensation and Benefits
• Hourly wage: CAD $30.20 per hour.
• Full-time employment at 30 hours per week.
