We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong background in restaurant management. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety, staff performance, and customer satisfaction while maintaining a positive work environment.

As a Assistant Restaurant Manager (NOC 60030), your duties will be:

· Manage daily restaurant operations, including staff supervision and training.
· Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
· Oversee cash handling processes, including daily reconciliations and deposits.
· Utilize POS systems effectively for order management and reporting.
· Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
· Conduct interviews and hire staff to build a strong team.
· Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and quality standards.
· Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
· Implement marketing strategies to increase restaurant visibility and patronage.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment.
Requirements
· Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
· Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
· Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage guest relations effectively.
· Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing.
· Experience in cash handling procedures.
· Ability to lead, motivate, and train staff in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
· Bartending experience is a plus but not required.
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications:
• Secondary (high) school or graduation certificate or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is usually required.
• Several years of experience in the food service sector

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (35-40 hours/week)

Compensation: $ 37.00/hour
