Job Description

The Corner shop located at 36363 Auguston Park way south Abbotsford, BC V3G 2Y7 is looking for a Retail Store Manager. The candidate is required to have minimum high school education. The candidate is also required to have at least 1 year of relevant experience or degree/diploma/certificate in the relevant field. The company is paying a very competitive wage of $35.00 per hour. This is a full time position for 30-40 hours per week.
The major set of job duties is below but not limited to:
1. Manage staff and assign duties.
2. Determine merchandise and services to be sold.
3. Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.
4. Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages.
5. Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
6. Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors’ operations on sales.
7. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
8. Determine staffing requirements.
9. Implement price and credits policies.
10. Develop and implement marketing strategies.
