We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and passionate Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion & Indigenous Relations to continue to lead the development and execution of corporate-wide Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and Indigenous Relations (IR) frameworks, strategies, programs, and initiatives, leading a team dedicated to fostering an environment of inclusivity and belonging. Reporting to the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition, Inclusion, Indigenous Relations and Safety, in this dynamic position you will be crucial in building and nurturing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that our DEI & IR initiatives are effectively communicated and aligned with our values.

• Have a passion for learning, researching and staying abreast of DEI’s current events and best practices to adapt them to SGI’s culture and business.
• Want to leverage your leadership skills to influence change and adaptation, like actively supporting SGI’s culture, expanding your learning, and supporting your colleagues as they do.

Typically, these skills are gained through a four-year degree in a relevant field such as Business, Indigenous Studies, or Social Sciences. Ten years of experience comprised six years of leadership experience and four years of experience with increasing responsibility in monitoring, developing, and executing diversity, equity and inclusion and Indigenous relations strategies and programs with large public or private organizations. A Canadian Certified Inclusion Professional (CCIP™) designation and a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation would be considered an asset.
