Victoria Hyundai is looking for a Full-Time Service Advisor (NOC 64409)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week.
Job Description:
• Answer, in person or on the phone, enquiries from customers
• Arrange for refunds, exchange and credit for returned merchandise where applicable
• Explain the type and cost of services offered
• Provide information about claims or accounts
• Update accounts, initiate billing and process claim payments, and receive payment for services.
• Recommend and sell maintenance and repair services to customers
• Follow up on any unsold work
• Write service work orders
• Liaise with technicians to ensure proper work flow
• Maintain and develop an excellent customer experience
• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner
• Create work orders with accurate information
• Refer to service history, inspect vehicle, and recommend additional needed service
• Provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts
• Contact customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explain cost and time requirements in detail
• Keep service department forms, menus and pricing guides up-to-date
• Explain completed work and all charges to customers.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum completion of secondary school
• Minimum 6 months of experience in a customer service or sales environment
• Experience as an automotive service advisor is an asset
• Knowledge of PBS and basic computer applications like Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Language in the workplace is English
