We are seeking experienced Logistics Specialists with deep expertise in Canada-USA cross-border LTL freight operations. The successful candidates will play a mission-critical role in coordinating and executing complex logistics tasks, including customs clearance, ACI documentation, real-time tracking, and direct engagement with shippers, receivers, and carriers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
– Plan, schedule, and coordinate USA-bound LTL shipments, ensuring efficient load planning using industry-standard logistics tools and ERPs such as Axon.
– Process and review LTL-specific cross-border customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing slips, and ACI/ACE e-manifests, tailored to multi-drop, small-pallet shipments.
– Track and monitor LTL freight movements across multiple terminals and destinations, providing real-time updates to customers and internal operations teams.
– Liaise with customs brokers, CBSA/USCBP, and other regulatory bodies to ensure timely and compliant cross-border clearance of LTL shipments.
– Assign drivers and optimize route plans with consideration for LTL consolidation, time sensitivity, cargo perishability, and multi-drop scheduling.
– Maintain high-frequency communication with clients, drivers, and LTL partner carriers to ensure seamless, uninterrupted freight flow across borders.
– Ensure meticulous recordkeeping of all LTL shipment data, including customs clearances, shipment delays, exceptions, and cross-border movement history.
– Resolve LTL-specific logistical issues in real-time, particularly during night shifts, weekends, and holidays, when customs and carrier coordination is critical.
– Participate in the continuous improvement of LTL routing protocols, documentation accuracy, and multi-terminal dispatch efficiency.

Wage/Salary: $77,000/year
Benefits: Full Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Benefits Package Available after 90 days
Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week

Skills Requirements
Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent is required.
Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in LTL logistics, customs documentation, and dispatch coordination.
Skills/Licensing:
– Verifiable work experience and technical proficiency in Canadian and US customs clearance procedures, specifically related to ACI and LTL freight.
– Demonstrated proficiency in LTL load planning and Canadian and US customs documentation preparation for both FTL and LTL loads
– Demonstrated proficiency with ERPs and logistics management software, such as Axon.
– Demonstrated knowledge of Canada/US transportation documentation, regulatory compliance, and standard operational procedures for cross-border shipments.
Additional Requirements:
– Must be able to commit to working a rotation of night shifts, including weekends.
– Candidates will be required to complete a technical assessment, including demonstration of proficiency with Canada/US customs documentation
