We are looking for an experienced Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECA) for a Full-time position.

We, Kids Academy in Port Moody, provide high quality daycare to children aged 0-5years in a spacious facility, with bright classrooms and two large on-site playgrounds.

– Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECA)
– Location: 2610 St Johns Street, Port Moody, BC V3H 2B6 (Kids Academy)
– Work Condition: $22.5/hour, 40 hours/week (Full-time, Permanent)
– Vacation: 4% of gross salary
– Available Position: 1

++Requirements
 Completion of secondary school is required
 Completion of post-secondary courses in ECE/ECA or equivalent experience
 Minimum 1 year of experience in child care

++Job Duties:
 Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
 Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
 Diaper, and feed infants and toddlers
 Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts
 Maintain daycare equipment and assist in organizing and cleaning duties
 Serve snacks and lunch for children
 Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
 Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
