Join Our Team as a Full-Time Janitor
Location: Victoria, BC | $36.60/hour | 40 hours/week | Permanent Position
Dr. Cameron McCrodan, Optometric Corporation, operating as OptoMize Vision Therapy, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to help maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our modern vision therapy clinic located in Victoria, BC. We specialize in helping children, adults, and athletes overcome vision-related challenges that impact their learning, performance, and daily life. As a member of our team, you’ll play a vital behind-the-scenes role in ensuring our environment remains safe, welcoming, and spotless for our clients and staff.
What You’ll Do:
· Clean and disinfect floors, carpets, therapy rooms, waiting areas, and staff spaces (in excess of 10,000 sq feet of cleaning area)
· Sanitize bathrooms and restock supplies
· Disinfect high-touch surfaces, clinical equipment, and treatment rooms
· Dust furniture, blinds, windows, and fixtures
· Empty waste and recycling bins regularly
· Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and notify management of low inventory
· Follow all workplace health, safety, and infection-control protocols
· Report any damage or safety hazards
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Part-Time will be considered)
Wage: $36.60 per hour (fixed rate)
Hours: 40 hours/week (Monday–Saturday with scheduling flexibility between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

What You Bring:
· Minimum 1 year of experience in cleaning
· Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules
· Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a proactive mindset
· No formal education required
· English is the means of communication required to perform well at this job
