Tim Hortons 2362 – SmartCentres Vernon is looking for four (4) Full-Time Bakers (NOC 63202) to join our team! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $18.00/hour (negotiable), with extended medical and dental benefits after probation.
Job Description:
• Prepare Tim Hortons baked goods, and ensure quality and standards are met.
• Bake mixed doughs, batters, icing; frost and decorate donuts, cookies, and other goods
• Shaping of desserts and internal filling of donuts with various creams and mixtures
• Follow guaranteed Always Fresh procedure to ensure products are always fresh and accurate.
• Adhere to product shelf life standards to ensure best quality product is available to guests.
• Regularly take temperature of required products, fridges and freezer, record information in the Time & Temperature Log.
• Support a clean environment that is ready for rush periods through regular clean up, organization, and stocking of the kitchen.
• Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods, may assist serving guests in Restaurant Front when necessary.
Job Requirements:
• On-the-job training is provided
• Previous experience as Baker is an asset
• Must be willing to work early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and graveyard shift.
• Language at the workplace is English
