Mr Pretzels Vernon is looking for a Full-Time Food Counter Attendant (NOC 65201)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 32-40 hours per week, $17.85/hour, with benefits.
Job Description:
• Take customers’ orders and receive payment for food items purchased
• Process payments using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items like pretzels, dips, and beverages
• Operate ovens and warmers to bake pretzels according to company standards
• Assemble and package food orders accurately and efficiently
• Portion, assemble, and wrap food
• Use equipment to prepare beverages
• Serve customers at counter
• Replenish ingredients, packaging supplies, and other materials from storage
• Keep records of the quantities of food used
• Clean and sanitize food prep areas and equipment
• Follow opening and closing procedures as directed.
Job Requirements:
• Previous experience in food service is an asset
• Language in the workplace is English
