Job Description

81-year old woman with diabetes, hypertension, weak health, doing dialysis 3 times a week is looking for an in-home caregiver who will provide personal care, assistance with daily routine, personal hygiene, bathing, mobility, exercise, administering medication, changing ileostomy bag, prepare and serve healthy and nutritious meals according to her dietary needs, housekeeping, laundry.
The caregiver needs to have at least a high school diploma, be able to speak clearly in French or English and have at least one year experience as a caregiver or 6-months related caregiver training.
Position is full time 40 hours per week, 5 days a week, two days off: generally Saturday and Sunday but this may vary according to the employer’s needs, therefore flexibility is important for the employer. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.
