JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Assistant to provide technical support and maintenance for our clients’ IT systems. As an integral member of our team, you will troubleshoot, resolve technical issues, and assist with system updates and installations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IT support, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing top-notch customer service.
Job Description
WAGE: $35.40/hour
BENEFITS: Health & Dental Benefits after one (1) year.
EDUCATION: Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field (OR equivalent experience).
EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years of IT support or related role, preferably in an MSP environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications.

DUTIES:
-Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, both remotely and on-site.
-Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals.
-Monitor and manage IT environments using Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) Tools.
-Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to networks, VPNs, and Wi-Fi systems.
-Assist with cloud migrations and implementations of platforms like Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
-Conduct regular maintenance, including updates, backups, and security checks.
-Document technical issues, resolutions, and changes in ticketing and documentation systems
-Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction.

TECHICAL SKILLS:
-Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems
-Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs.
-Familiarity with RMM and ticketing tools. Experience with the ConnectWise Manage group of products would be an asset.
-Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure) is a plus.
-Experience with cybersecurity practices, including antivirus and firewalls.
