Job Duties:
• Install, repair, or replace built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt-saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel.
• Install, repair, or replace single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials including modified plastics, elastomeric membranes, and asphaltic compositions.
• Install, repair, or replace shingles, shakes, and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs.
• Install sheet metal flashings around roof intersections, chimneys, and other structures to prevent water infiltration.
• Apply waterproof coatings and membranes to concrete or masonry surfaces, both above and below ground level, to enhance water resistance.
• Install and repair metal roofing systems using hand and power tools, ensuring proper sealing and alignment.
• Set up scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers to provide safe and secure access to roof areas.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes at all times.
• Inspect existing roofing systems to assess the extent of damage or wear and determine repair requirements.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in roofing installation and repair particularly torch-on flat roofing.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
• Familiarity with roofing materials and hand/power tools
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Working Conditions:
• Work in wet, damp, strong odours, dust, cold environments, outdoors, noisy.
• Heavy workloads, stand, bend, crouch, and kneel.
• Repetitive task.
• Job is physically demanding, ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
