Protek Bodies has been a manufacturer of high-quality fiberglass utility truck bodies for
over 40 years. Protek distributes their product throughout Canada from our Toronto facility.
Protek is currently looking to hire dedicated individuals to add to our growing team.

We are looking for six (6) Full-Time Fibreglass Mould Makers (NOC 72101)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30 hours per week.
Job Description:
• Construct fibreglass truck body moulds using hand lay-up techniques, applying fibreglass mat, resin, and gel coat to create durable moulds for composite parts.
• Fit and assemble mould components and plugs made from various materials such as fibreglass, metal, wood, or plastic, ensuring they meet required shapes and tolerances.
• Machine, fit, and assemble castings and other components to create precise moulds, core boxes, and match plates for use in production processes
• Lay out, cut, and shape patterns using blueprints, technical drawings, or templates; construct full-scale models or plugs
• Operate manual and CNC machine tools to cut, drill, and finish components
• Inspect final moulds and patterns for accuracy, structural integrity, and surface finish
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years of fibreglass mould making and laminating
• Language in the workplace is English
