Responsibilities
Tasks

1. Develop all kinds of events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes
2. Develop communication strategies
3. Evaluate communication strategies and programs
4. Implement communication strategies and programs
5. Oversee the preparation of public written material
6. Prepare bibliographies, indexes, reading lists, guides and other finding aids
7. Act as spokesperson for an organization
8. Answer written and oral inquiries
9. Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material
10. Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions
11. Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys
12. Gather, research and prepare communications material
13. Initiate and maintain contact with the media
14. Prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity and information programs, materials and sessions
15. Prepare sports, literary, performance or other contracts
16. Conduct analytical marketing studies
17. Conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional, or international areas to assess development of potential and future trends
18. Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals
19. Write and edit press releases, newsletter and communications materials
20. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
