Main Duties and Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement creative strategies to increase revenue and patron engagement, while preserving the traditional Irish pub atmosphere.
– Oversee daily pub operations, ensuring smooth service, friendly customer interactions, and a welcoming environment for all guests including regulars, tourists, and occasional high-profile visitors.
– Maintain and enhance the authentic Irish character of the pub through menu offerings, decor, music, and event programming.
– Lead, train, and inspire a team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff, encouraging a warm, inclusive, and service-oriented culture.
– Plan, promote, and manage pub events such as live music nights, sports viewings, themed gatherings, and private functions.
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food and liquor licensing requirements, and company policies specific to bar and restaurant operations.
– Foster a community-focused, guest-first mindset among staff, ensuring patrons have memorable, enjoyable experiences every time they visit.
– Conduct regular staff reviews and provide constructive feedback, with an emphasis on hospitality training, performance growth, and retention.
– Manage staff scheduling and shift coverage to ensure efficient operations during peak hours, including evenings and weekends.
– Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to maintain consistent stock of high-quality beverages, food products, and pub essentials.
– Support sustainability efforts through responsible waste management, local sourcing when possible, and eco-conscious practices.
– Oversee all financial aspects of the pub, including daily cash flow, budgeting, invoice reconciliation, tip distribution, and cost controls.
Wage/Salary: $36.00/hour
Benefits: Extended Health Benefits after 90 days, 6% Vacation Pay, Share of Gratuities Received
Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week

Work Experience: Must have at least 3 years of general management experience in a restaurant and bar setting.
Skills/Licensing:
– Demonstrated and verifiable work experience leading and mentoring a team in a hospitality setting, including staff training, performance evaluation, and team development.
– Demonstrated competence in managing financial operations, including budgeting, invoicing, cash handling, and financial reporting.
– Demonstrated and verifiable work experience in negotiating with and managing suppliers.
– Demonstrated proficiency with restaurant management software, financial reporting tools, and basic computer applications.
– Demonstrated knowledge of health and safety regulations pertinent to the food and beverage industry.
