Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Motel Managing Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of Cypress Motor Inn, which includes a motel, restaurant, bar, and VLT gaming area. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth business operations, maintain high customer service standards, and manage staff efficiently while maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee front desk operations, including reservations, check-ins, and check-outs.
Ensure rooms are cleaned and maintained to high standards.
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Manage room occupancy and pricing strategies to optimize revenue.
Supervise restaurant and bar staff to ensure excellent service.
Monitor food and beverage inventory, toiletry and other supplies.
Ensure compliance with food safety, liquor licensing, health regulations and other compliances.
Assist in menu planning, promotions, and cost control for the room. Manage the calendar for room booking, create social media post and other related blogs to attract the market.
Handle cash management and financial reporting for overall operations.
Staff Supervision & Administration:
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise employees across all departments.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide staff training.
Handle payroll, shift scheduling, and conflict resolution.
Maintain records of sales, expenses, and daily reports.
Customer Service & Business Growth:
Develop marketing and promotional strategies to attract customers.
Build positive relationships with guests and address their needs.
Implement customer feedback for continuous improvement.
Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Required languages: English
Education level: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Required skills: Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality or motel management. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience in managing restaurant, bar, and gaming operations is an asset. Knowledge of hospitality software, POS systems, and cash handling procedures.
