Job Description

Assembly and Testing Supervisor (Salary negotiable depending on experience level)

• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of workers who assemble, fabricate, inspect and test electrical control panel and electromechanical assemblies, subassemblies, parts and components or activities of workers who assemble, fabricate and inspect various types of generators other water treatment equipment such as ECA generators, Reverse Osmosis and other water treatment components.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments.
• Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed.
• Prepare production and other reports
• May set up, install the machines and equipment on customer’s site
• Prepare Electrical Schematics drawing and assist in the control panel design.
• Guide and assist in the assembly, repairs, installs, dismantles, modifies, replaces, adjusts, tests, cleans, calibrates, troubleshoots, diagnose, and maintains water treatment equipment/apparatus pumps, rectifiers, VFD, PLC,HMI, relays, electrodes, electric circuit breakers, pipes, fittings, solenoids, valves, cable, instrumentation, Network (preventative and predictive maintenance)
• Repairs, installs, dismantles, modifies, replaces, adjusts, tests, cleans, calibrates, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintains water treatment equipment/apparatus pumps, rectifiers, VFD, PLC, relays, electrodes, electric circuit breakers, pipes, fittings, solenoids, valves, cable, instrumentation, Network (preventative and predictive maintenance)
• Guide the team and assist in the shop with electrical panel building & automation projects
• Perform and assist in the shop on electrical panel building & automation projects.
• Effectively engaged across various maintenance challenges that utilize multiple skills and resources;
• Consult & adjust parameters of equipment to operate to customer’s specifications.
• Remote and on-site consults visits and training to customers and end-users.
• Must be available to work a minimum 8-hour day, occasional evening shifts/callouts, and travel as required, including a full work week, trips to the location or sites across North America
• Carries out additional projects and assignments as required and agreed both parties.

Required languages: English

Education level: Technical or Engineering Degree Equivalent: Preferably Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

Required skills: Construction / Installation, Inspection, Commissioning, Maintenance and troubleshooting, Engineering Design /Review; •Detailed Design with PDMS / AutoCad, Solidworks, Eplan

Additional skills / Assets: Knows SolidWorks, EPLAN and Autocad and Electrical Panel Assembly
