Road Train Express Inc. is looking for 2 positions of Logistics Supervisor for their location at 85 Heart Lake Road S, Brampton, ON L6W 3K1
Job Title: Logistics Supervisor
Nature of Employment: Permanent Full-Time Position
Salary: $34.25 per hour for 37.5 hours/week. Overtime pay at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay after 44 hours. May be required to work some weekends
Job duties:
• Ensure effective and timely implementation of all logistics operations done
by clerks such as shipping, receiving, storing, distribution as well as
maintaining inventory of materials, parts, and products.
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Review and co-ordinate production work along with purchasing
Transactions.
• Direct, optimize, and coordinate activities with other supply chains
departments as well as prepare & submit related progress report
• Make arrangements to provide necessary training to workers to perform
their job duties & provide them with a work schedule while ensuring safety and
• company policies
• Plan and arrange required logistics operations of the organization
• Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues
• Ensure smooth operation of computer systems & other equipment as well
as their maintenance where necessary
• Schedule routes, transportation & dispatching crews as well as operate
airport ramp servicing vehicles

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
