Job Description

Wilco Contractors Northwest Inc. is seeking 19 Construction Labourers for their 14420-154 Ave., NW Edmonton AB T6V 0K8 location and various locations in and around Edmonton, AB. English-speaking workplace. Seasonal positions (April to December 2025) (10-12 hours a day, 6 days a week)

Wage: $26.00/hour
Overtime after 44 hours a week
Education: Basic
Experience: Will train

Duties: Building retaining walls, paving stone installation, concrete forming, and paying pavers for pathways. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Carpenter’s helper. Help building structures. Underground utility installation and other types of civil work. Mobilize and spread toil soil and other materials. Operate small packers. Lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs and trees. Water and tend plants, lawns, and or gardens. Perform all duties related to construction.

Should be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and attention to detail. Tight deadlines. Physically demanding. A valid class 5 license and a reliable vehicle is mandatory for local employees. Willing to look at applicants for ride-sharing who do not have a license. Must be 18 years or older.
