Job Description

Seeking an experienced and dependable full-time caregiver for our 18-month-old child with medical needs. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in handling individuals with high medical needs/disability.

Tasks:
Administer bedside and personal care
Administer medications
Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Feed or assist in feeding
Launder clothing and household linens
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Plan therapeutic diets and menus
Provide companionship
Provide personal care
Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Required languages: English

Education level: 1. Health-Related Diploma or Certificate: A diploma or certificate in health care or a related field, such as Personal Support Worker (PSW) or Home Support Worker, is required. 2. CPR and First Aid Certification: Certification in CPR and First Aid is required or candidates should be willing to obtain this certification if not already completed.

Required skills: Experience with G-tube feeding and administering medications, as well as monitoring and managing health conditions, is highly preferred. Experience in monitoring vital signs and providing health-related assistance, ensuring safety, and responding to changes in health conditions. Ability to follow detailed care plans and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of our daughter
