Walsh family in Carleton Heights Ottawa ON seeking in-home childcare giver/nanny to provide care for 3 children aged 5 to 14, with primary care for youngest. One children have ADHD and one with ODD but no special training is needed for this . For extra compensation baby-sit children when parent travels for work.

Supervise and care for children in employer’s or own residence]

Bathe, and dress youngest.

Plan, prepare and serve meals for children including school lunches for youngest and may perform other housekeeping duties

Oversee children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by employer

Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Instruct children in personal hygiene

Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development

Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents

Provide organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings

Take youngest child to and from school bus stop and appointments

May be required to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding each child.

Oversee children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by employer

Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Instruct children in personal hygiene

Tend to the well-being of children and support their social development

Required languages: English essential, French desirable

Education level: completion of high school, college level education especially in childcare is desirable or equivalent experience

Required skills: First Aid certification.

Additional skills / Assets: Have at least 3 years of child care experience as a child care giver. Open also to new comers and physically challenged.
