Title: Commercial Flat Roofer (NOC 73110)
Job Description:
• All tasks associated with the installation, repair, or replacement of commercial flat roofing systems
• Install sheet metal flashings
• Apply waterproof coatings
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
• Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs
• Abide by all safety policies, procedures, and regulations
• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines
• Prep sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
• Aid in minimizing wear and tear of any Designed Roofing Inc., Essential Exteriors and NGM equipment, vehicles, and trailers

Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial flat roofing installation
• High degree of safety awareness and commitment to safety, their own and other workers
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to travel with designated crew and supervisor to various locations out of town for runs up to 11-day intervals
• Know and understand building and construction methods, materials, and tools
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Ability to do physical labour and other strenuous physical tasks
• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Valid class G Driver’s License
• Criminal Record Check – Level 2
• Working at Heights Certification
• Elevated Work Platform certification an asset
