HOURS OF WORK: Approx. 5 hours per week Tue & Thurs. 2:45-5:15pm
SALARY: $27.20 to $29.46 per hour + 12% in lieu of all benefits
Our Parks and Recreation Department is seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to teach snooker lessons in the City of New Westminster.
Responsibilities:
• Provide group snooker lessons for players of various skill levels.
• Develop and implement personalized training programs tailored to individual needs and goals.
• Assist players in improving their technique, strategy, and overall game performance.
• Offer constructive feedback and track progress to ensure continuous improvement.
• Maintain a positive and motivating learning environment.
• Stay updated on the latest snooker techniques, strategies, and equipment.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the snooker area.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a snooker player or instructor with a strong understanding of the game.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to motivate and inspire players of all skill levels and abilities.
• Patient, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
